The title sponsor for our 2nd Annual Poker Ride/Walk is Rene Puppe, President, PSE Pro Stage Canada Inc. specializing in manufacture/repair of custom control panels for the tower crane industry.  He has lived in BC for 25 years-Abbotsford resident for the last 10-12 years.  Rene responded to the Abbotsford Times article .  He was particularly taken with the story of Storm and Thunder and after seeing the Horse Rescue Stories/video came to visit.  He had always  wanted a horse, but his lifestyle was not conducive.  He told me that he certainly would not want his horse to end up neglected like Storm.  After seeing Storm’s improvement and the rest of our facility, sponsoring the Poker Ride was simply the right thing to do said Mr. Puppe.

September - New Website Announcement

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website.  It has been redesigned with a fresh new look and updated with new pictures and slideshows of our volunteers and our facilities.  Additionally, it has a "search" feature as well as a "comments" feature on our Forever Home Page located under the About Us drop down menu.  And of course, all events such as the Poker Ride can be found under our new News & Events page.
