My close friend Robyn knew how much I loved to spend time with horses and knew that one day I hoped for a horse of my own, so she told me about Circle F. I called about volunteering and met with Walter back in the summer of 2004. At that time, we were on Lefevur Road and the rescue was nothing like it is now! We had to walk down about ½ mile from the road, there were no lights, no outhouse and we had big tent cover for the feed area/barn and for our hay & storage. There was no riding arena or round pen, the horses where basically in a big field with trees. Walter had made a beautiful covered feeding area for the horses, but boy was it muddy when it rained. I didn’t care, I was with horses and I loved every bit of it. Even when it was cold and miserable with rain, because they needed me and I needed them. Read More

I came to Circle F one year ago with limited equine knowledge having worked at the racetrack with horses that were basically kept in stalls for most of the day and I can say working among a herd of horses that are free to roam about, is an environment I love. Respectful of their intelligence and strength, I enjoy working and learning with them.

Spring/Fall 2011 – Conditioning Sessions &/or Horsemanship Clinics

April 9, 2011 Horsemanship Clinic with Hiro Kinugasa  

Early Fall 2011 - High Point Equestrian Estates has agreed to sponsor the 2011 Poker Ride and have invited Circle F to hold it at their new State of the Art Equestrian Center [scheduled completion-Spring 2011]. This stunning new facility will feature an outdoor arena and 40 horse stalls among other things. The Poker Ride next year will take place on the High Point trails and will include a BBQ.
